Updates and Praises:

• March was a super-full and exciting month at MANÁ. We had several events, two short-term teams, and we transitioned from our summer programs to the school year.

• We closed out our summer program with a big party with the help of the Cape Cod Alliance Church. The children enjoyed several activities in stations: a photo booth, carnival games with prizes, group games, volleyball/soccer, creating their own personalized keychains (shrinky dinks) and mood boards for their goals for this year. We also closed it all out with water games and Pizza—it was a great time together.

• We also had an excellent parent meeting with over 35 present. We presented a report on the past year at MANÁ and how God has been working. After this meeting, we were able to deliver over 50 school supply packs to every child in the program! This is a blessing that helps change lives and create a better future.

• We are grateful that March was also a month of Connections. The MANÁ directors had several meeting this month to seek more partnerships, scholarships, volunteers, and professional support for the children and their families. They also attended two training conferences with the Inca Link Peru team, One by firefighter on emergency saferty trainning and another conference hosted by Cambiando Horizontes Peru, on Promoting a Culture of Car for Children and Adolescents.

• With the return to school, our educational program is in full swing. We've been helping the children with their homework in the morning and afternoon, Monday through Thursday. And this year, we can see that the children are doing their part and are starting the school year off strong. We're so proud of them and all their efforts and hard work!

• Thanks to Génesis, who handles marketing for Inca Link Peru, we were able to get new sponsor photos for each child, and they look great!

How can you pray for us?

• Let us pray as the parents of the MANÁ children reach out and ask for prayer. Let us pray that we may continue working hand in hand with them for the good of the children and in the hope of reaching entire families.

• Let us pray for the 17 children/teens who are part of MANÁ and still need sponsorship (http://www.incalinkmana.org/sponsorship-program). And let us pray for Chloe one of the directors, who will travel to the United States for two weeks in April to raise funds.

• Let us pray for more volunteers and staff for MANÁ (specifically teachers and a psychologist).

Actualizaciones y Alabanzas a Dios:

• Marzo fue un mes súper lleno y genial en MANÁ. Tuvimos varios eventos, dos equipos de corto plazo y pasamos de nuestros programas de verano al año escolar.

• Cerramos nuestro programa de verano con una gran celebración con la ayuda de la Iglesia Alianza de Cape Cod. Los niños tuvieron varias actividades en la fiesta: un fotomatón, juegos con premios, voleibol/fútbol, ​​creación de llaveros personalizados y tableros de sus metas para este año. ¡Además, cerramos con Carnavales y Pizza, fue un gran tiempo juntos.

• También tuvimos una excelente reunión de padres con más de 35 asistentes. Presentamos un informe sobre el año pasado en MANÁ y cómo Dios obró. Después de esta reunión, ¡logramos entregar más de 50 paquetes de útiles escolares a cada niño del programa! Esta es una bendición que ayuda a cambiar vidas y a crear un futuro mejor.

• Agradecemos que marzo también haya sido un mes de Conexiones. Los directores de MANÁ se reunieron varias veces este mes para buscar alianzas, becas, voluntarios y apoyo profesional para los niños y sus familias. También pudieron asistir con el equipo de Inca Link Perú a una conferencia de capacitación impartida por Cambiando Horizontes Perú sobre la Promoción de una Cultura de Cuidado para la Niñez y la Adolescencia.

• Con el regreso a clases, nuestro programa educativo está en pleno apogeo. Hemos estado ayudando a los niños con sus tareas por la mañana y por la tarde, de lunes a jueves. Y este año, podemos ver que los niños están poniendo de su parte y están empezando el año escolar con buen pie. Estamos muy orgullosos de ellos y de todo su esfuerzo!

• Gracias a Génesis, que se encarga del marketing para Inca Link Perú, conseguimos hacer nuevas fotos de patrocinadores para cada niño y ¡se ven geniales!
