Updates and Praises:
⁃ MANÁ awarded 2 students with prize packs who improved the most academically during the month and 3 students with the most A+ grades of the month. Between the morning and afternoon group there was a total of 105 A+ grades the month of October.
⁃ We celebrated "Wear it Wednesday" for Inca Link International with a poster and making Incalink & Halloween themed cupcakes in our Bakery class this month.
⁃ In Sewing Workshop, the students finished their tote bags and decorative blender covers.
⁃ And in Knitting Class, the newer students finished making their knitted flowers and the older students continued to work on their knitted teddy bears & bunnies.
⁃ In Devotional time this month we taught about Noah & the Ark, and Cain & Abel and how to be Saved.
⁃ MANÁ had it's very first slumber party for our teenagers. We had dinner together, played so many games, had a bonfire devotional and made s'mores, slept a little, and had breakfast together. It was a very fun and special time of fellowship. AND PRAISE GOD 4 TEENS RECIEVED CHRIST!
⁃ The directors, Jeff and Chloe, made home visits to each family and interviewed them about how they view the care for their children at MANÁ, what their greatest needs of support are, and updated their socioeconomic file. We are grateful that their responses weren't just helpful, but extremely encouraging and postive.
⁃ Praise God that our knitting teacher, Gladys, who had 2 successful surgeries for breast cancer, has been recovering well. And the whole MANÁ team went out to eat together to celebrate at a nice restaurant.
How can you pray for us?
⁃ Please pray as we continue to seek volunteers and 25 sponsors for MANÁ.
⁃ Please pray as director Chloe leaves to the United States for the month of November to fundraise and find sponsors for thei kids. And pray for director Jeff who will be staying behind to care for all the kids of MANÁ.
Actualizaciones y Alabanzas a Dios:
⁃ MANÁ premió a los 2 estudiantes que han mejoraron académicamente durante el mes y a los 3 estudiantes con más calificaciones de AD del mes. Entre el grupo de mañana y tarde hubo un total de 105 notas AD en el mes de octubre.
⁃ Celebramos "Wear it Wednesday" para Inca Link International con un cartel y haciendo cupcakes con temática de Incalink y Halloween en nuestra clase de Repostería este mes.
⁃ En el Taller de Costura, los estudiantes terminaron sus bolsas de mano y cubiertas decorativas para licuadoras.
⁃ Y en la clase de tejido, los nuevos estudiantes terminaron de tejer sus flores tejidas y los estudiantes mayores continuaron trabajando en sus ositos y conejitos de peluche tejidos.
⁃ En el tiempo devocional de este mes enseñamos sobre Noé y el Arca, Caín y Abel y cómo ser salvo.
⁃ MANÁ tuvo su primera pijamada para nuestros adolescentes. Cenamos juntos, jugamos muchos juegos, tuvimos un devocional en una fogata e hicimos s'mores/malvaviscos, dormimos un poco y desayunamos juntos. Fue un momento de compañerismo muy divertido y especial.
¡Y ALABADO DIOS 4 ADOLESCENTES RECIBIERON A CRISTO!
⁃ Los directores, Jeff y Chloe, realizaron visitas domiciliarias a cada familia y los entrevistaron sobre cómo ven el cuidado de sus hijos en MANÁ, cuáles son sus mayores necesidades de apoyo y actualizaron su expediente socioeconómico. Estamos agradecidos de que sus respuestas no sólo hayan sido útiles, sino también extremadamente alentadoras y positivas.
⁃ Gloria a Dios que nuestra maestra de tejido, hermana Gladys, quien tuvo 2 cirugías exitosas por cáncer de mama, se ha estado recuperando bien. Y todo el equipo de MANÁ salimos a comer juntos para celebrarlo y disfrutar de un compartir en un bonito restaurante.

⁃ Oren mientras continuamos buscando voluntarios y 25 padrinos para MANÁ.
⁃ Por favor oren mientras la directora Chloe se va a los Estados Unidos durante el mes de noviembre para recaudar fondos y encontrar patrocinadores para los niños. Y oren por el director Jeff, quien se quedará para cuidar a todos los niños de MANÁ.
