Updates and Praises:
In honor of Youth Day here in Peru, we held our annual sleepover at MANÁ! Twenty-five of our teens came to play and connect! Some of the strongest friendships are made on nights like these. God also uses nights like these to connect with His children. We had 4 more students give their lives to Christ during our devotional bonfire, AMEN! Three of the four were actually some of our toughest teens, behavior-wise. It was a great reminder to never give up, even when you can't see the fruit yourself, and that nobody is too lost or out of reach for God! Please pray for us as we continue to reach these students.
We finished our second “team” in our World Cup Devotional albums: the parables of jesus! We are now onto “Hero’s of the Old Testament”! Praise God that this format continues to keep the kids attention and has been successful in them learning more about God and His Word!
Hannah—a former intern—and her husband Wes visited us; they served with us for a week! We also said goodbye to Sahara, another intern who was with us for five weeks; we are grateful for her service and pray for her as she continues serving God with Inca Link, this time in Costa Rica.
One of the main schools our students attend is running entirely virtually for the rest of the year because of the school roof's poor condition and as a precautionary measure for the El Niño phenomenon. This is a big deal, as many of our students have only one phone that the whole family uses; most don't have internet in home, and some don't even have electricity. That is why these students have now been coming to MANA for their online classes. They need Wi-Fi access, electronic devices, printed materials, help completing and uploading their homework, and help using the classroom platform; for many, it's also their first time really using a computer and typing. This has been a transition, as we need multiple electronic devices and headphones at once; Jeff and I have been using all our old and current phones, tablets and some donated old laptops to make this work. This also means we have many students at MANA all day, and our afternoon group has gone from 25 kids/teens to care for to nearly 40 at once. This has been an adjustment for us. We are finally starting to get into a rhythm, but it may be hard for Jeff to manage it all himself for the rest of the month while Chloe's in the U.S. Pray for him, and also for the El Niño phenomenon and all the ways it may continue to affect our kids.
We also started having weekly breakfast with our team before MANÁ for a devotional and to pray together!
We praise our powerful God and are excited to say we found the sponsors needed for our current university students, so that they can continue their studies!
How can you pray for us?
Please pray with us for our nine high school seniors. Pray that they may graduate and for their futures, and that they trust in the Lord as we apply for Inca Link scholarships for their first year and seek sponsors thereafter.
Please pray for missionaries and directors of MANA Jeff and Chloe. Chloe will travel to the United States the month of October to raise funds for them as they are underfunded, while Jeff will stay behind to care for the children at MANA. If you are interested in supporting them, click here: DONATE
Pray as we work with the local church to raise funds for the Christmas food baskets we will give to each family in need in December.
Blessings,
Jeff & Chloe

MANÁ SEPTIEMBRE '26 (Español)
Actualizaciones y Alabanzas a Dios:
Bendiciones,
- Jeff y Chloe
