Updates and Praises

• This month has been full of summer workshops and events!

• We celebrated Valentine's Day with two separate events for our pre-teens and teens. The boys played soccer, video games, and ate ceviche together. The girls had a Valentine's Day dinner with desserts, love bingo, and lots of fun games.

• We recently invested in a small pool for MANÁ and had the first pool day for our young children in the ministry, who had a blast!

• We are offering 8 different workshops this summer: Crafts, Sewing, Knitting, Cosmetology, Cooking, Baking, Bracelet Making, and Contradance.

• In our student led Cosmetology workshop, they taught makeup, gel nails, and how to put in hair tinsels.

• For Cooking class, the students made hamburgers one week and "Papa Rellena" a traditional Peruvian dish the next.

• In Baking class, we made heart red velvet cupcakes and oreo chocolate-chip cookie brownies.

• This month in Crafts, we decorated our handmade mini ceramic plates, made Valentine's Day cards, and made resin earrings and keychains with dried flowers, stickers, and glitter. We also made and decorated plant pots for MANÁ.

  During devotional time, we studied the Bible stories of King Saul and King David.

• The students have felt even more comfortable sharing in small groups and being vulnerable in fellowship and asking for prayer.

• Inca Link (and our sponsors) are helping seven MANÁ students with college scholarships. This month we successfully enrolled them and paid for their first year! These same students are leaders in the ministry and help lead workshops and small groups.

• Our teen leaders have been staying after ministry each day to ask any questions they may have about faith (bible, theology, etc.). It's been great to see them grow in their curiosity and confidence in their walks with Christ.

• We had 4 students that have been regularly attending Alliance Churches go to summer church camp this past weekend!

• We are so grateful for all the help from our intern, Julia, who will be returning to the United States next week.

How can you pray for us?

• Pray for Back to school this next month!

• Also pray for our parent-teacher meeting next month.

• Finally, let's pray as we continue making changes to the construction so we can finally obtain our operating license within the next two months.

MANÁ FEBRERO '26 (Español)

Actualizaciones y Alabanzas a Dios:

• ¡Este mes ha estado lleno de talleres y eventos de verano!

• Celebramos el día del amor y la amistad con dos eventos distintos para nuestros preadolescentes y adolescentes. Para los chicos, jugaron partidos de fútbol, videojuegos y comieron ceviche juntos. Y las chicas tuvieron una cena de San Valentín con postres, bingo del amor y muchos juegos divertidos.

• Recientemente invertimos en una pequeña piscina para MANÁ y tuvimos el primer día de piscina para nuestros niños pequeños del ministerio, quienes se divirtieron muchísimo.

• MANÁ ofrecemos 8 talleres de verano diferentes: Manualidades, Costura, Tejido, Cosmetología, Cocina, Repostería, Pulseras y Contradanza.

• En nuestro taller de cosmetología dirigido por estudiantes, enseñaron maquillaje, uñas de gel y cómo colocar tinsels/oropeles en el cabello.

• Para la clase de cocina, los estudiantes prepararon hamburguesas una semana y "Papa Rellena", un plato tradicional peruano, la siguiente.

• En la clase de repostería, hicimos cupcakes de red velvet con forma de corazón y brownies de galletas de chispas de chocolate y Oreo.

• Este mes, en Manualidades, decoramos nuestros mini platos de cerámica hechos a mano, tarjetas de San Valentín, y confeccionamos aretes y llaveros de resina con flores secas, pegatinas y brillantina. También hicimos y decoramos maceteros para MANÁ.

• En el tiempo devocional, estudiamos las historias bíblicas del rey Saúl y el rey David.

• Los estudiantes se han sentido aún más cómodos al compartir en grupos pequeños y ser vulnerables en la comunión y pedir oración.

• Inca Link (y nuestros patrocinadores) están ayudando a siete estudiantes de MANÁ con becas universitarias. ¡Este mes logramos inscribirlos y pagarles su primer año! Estos mismos estudiantes son líderes en el ministerio y ayudan a dirigir talleres y grupos pequeños.

• Nuestros líderes adolescentes se han quedado después del ministerio todos los días para responder cualquier pregunta que tengan sobre la fe (Biblia, teología, etc.). Ha sido maravilloso verlos crecer en su curiosidad y confianza en su caminar con Cristo.

• ¡El fin de semana pasado tuvimos 4 estudiantes que asisten regularmente a las Iglesias de la Alianza y que fueron al campamento de verano de la iglesia!

• Estamos muy agradecidos por toda la ayuda de nuestra interina, Julia, quien regresará a Estados Unidos la próxima semana.

¿Cómo puedes orar por nosotros?

• ¡Oremos por el regreso a clases el próximo mes!

• Oremos también por nuestra reunión de padres y maestros el próximo mes.

• Finalmente, oremos mientras seguimos realizando cambios en la construcción para que finalmente podamos obtener nuestra licencia de operación en los próximos dos meses.
