Updates and Praises

• In July, we had two short-term Missiom teams from the United States and four incredible interns. The children truly enjoyed the Bible stories, the crafts they shared, having help with their homework, and lots of intentional playtime.

• We took our youngest kiddos on their first field trip to a children's playplace at the mall. It was a sweet bonding moment.

• This month, with our prayer and self-care journals, we talked about our support systems, relationships, burnout, and prayer lives.

• Praise God that some of our teens have started attending church regularly and are growing in their faith and curiosity about the Christian life.

• We had a nurse perform free anemia screenings this month, and we are pleased to see that most of our children performed better this time than in previous years, as we have focused all year in our free lunches on providing iron-rich and nutritious meals.

• This month, we also sold many of our knitting projects, MANA t-shirts, and stickers to financially support the ministry.

• And we praise God because 8 children were sponsored this month alone!

• We pray as MANA works to make more connections with other non-profits, institutes, and churches where we can support and bless each other.

Actualizaciones y Alabanzas a Dios:

• En Julio tuvimos dos equipos de corto plazo de Estados Unidos y 4 interinas increíbles de los que ahora nos toca despedirnos. Los niños realmente disfrutaron las historias bíblicas, las manualidades que compartieron, ayuda con sus tareas, así como también mucho tiempo de juego intencional.

• Llevamos a nuestros beneficiarios más pequeños a su primera excursión a un lugar infantil en el centro comercial. Fue un momento muy dulce para estrechar lazos.

• Este mes, con nuestros diarios de oración y cuidado personal, hablamos sobre nuestros sistemas de apoyo, relaciones, agotamiento y vidas de oración.

• Gloria a Dios porque algunos de nuestros adolescentes han comenzado a asistir regularmente a la iglesia y están creciendo en su fe y curiosidad de la vida cristiana.

• Tuvimos una enfermera que realizó pruebas de anemia gratuitas este mes y nos complace ver que la mayoría de nuestros niños obtuvieron mejores resultados este vez que los años anteriores, ya que nos hemos centrado todo el año en nuestro comedor en brindar comidas ricas en hierro y nutritivas.

• Este mes también vendimos muchos de nuestros proyectos de tejido, camisetas de MANA y stickers para apoyar económicamente al ministerio. ¡Y Alabamos a Dios porque 8 niños fueron patrocinados en solo este mes!
