Updates and Praises

• We celebrated Father's Day with a Soccer watch Pizza Party of the Champions League final game for all the men in the ministry and their dads. Each dad also received a personal mini-radio with the Gospels recorded on it in Spanish. The best gift is Quality time together and the Word of God!

• Here in Peru, all the kids desire to have the World Cup Panini sticker album book and complete it with as many players as possible. So this month to connect with the kid's and get them excited about learning about the Word of God, we started our own "World Cup of Faith" sticker albums for our devotionals. Each week we discuss different Bible characters, and they receive a sticker of that person to place in their album. They also earn points and/or "cards" based on their participation. It has been great fun, and everyone is excited for devotional day each week! We are currently working through the "apostles team".

• Thank you all for your prayers regarding the opportunities we had last month to share our church, ACYM Larco. We are pleased to announce that this month we received donations of food and clothing for the children, and most of all, we welcomed 8 new volunteers! Praise God!

• Additionally, a friend from church who is a dental student came to examine the children's teeth and offered them free treatment.

• This month, we also held an event for all the girls in the ministry. We played a Guess Who/Bingo game using cards based with the girl's faces. We also painted nails and made detailed resin keychains with pressed flowers. We are grateful to the many woman volunteers from Larco Church who came to help!

• Thanks to several Christians from local and international churches who donated clothing, every child in our program went home with several items. What a Blessing!

• We are so grateful for the help and support from our returning intern, Jess, has offered. We also received 2 short-term missions teams this month for a total over 60 brothers and sisters in Christ. May God bless them and make Himself known through them.

  
  

How can you pray for us?

• Pray that the new volunteers we welcomed represent Christ well and remain steadfast in their service.

• Please pray as we disciple our university students with even greater intentionality now that they have taken on leadership roles within the ministry. May God protect them from temptation and continue to strengthen their faith.

• We currently have 7 University studies in our program that received a year long scholarship through Inca Link. That will run out at the end of the year. Actualizaciones y Alabanzas a Dios:

• ¡Celebramos el Día del Padre con un evento para ver la final partido de la Champions League con Pizza para todos los varones del ministerio y sus papás. Cada papá también recibió una mini radio personal con los evangelios grabados. ¡El mejor regalo es el tiempo de calidad compartido y la Palabra de Dios!

• Comenzamos nuestros propios panini/álbumes del Mundial de la Fe para devocional, donde cada semana hablamos de diferentes personajes de la Biblia y reciben una sticker de esa personaje para poner en su álbum. También ganan puntos y/o «tarjetas» según su participación. ¡Ha sido muy divertido y todos esperan con emoción el día de devocional cada semana! Actualmente estamos trabajando con el «equipo de los apóstoles».

• Gracias a todos por sus oraciones respecto a las oportunidades que tuvimos el mes pasado de compartir en nuestra iglesia, ACYM Larco sobre MANA. Nos complace anunciar que este mes recibimos donaciones de alimentos y ropa para los niños y, sobre todo, ¡dimos la bienvenida a 8 nuevos voluntarios! ¡Alabado sea Dios!

• Además, una amiga de la iglesia que estudia odontología vino a examinar los dientes de los niños y les ofreció tratamiento gratuito.

• Este mes también organizamos un evento para todas las chicas del ministerio. Jugamos a una especie de «¿Quién es quién?» y al bingo con tarjetas personalizados con las caras de las chicas. Además, nos pintamos las uñas e hicimos llaveros detallados de resina con flores prensadas. ¡Estamos muy agradecidas a las numerosas voluntarias de la iglesia ACYM Larco que vinieron a ayudar!

• Gracias a varios cristianos de iglesias locales e internacionales que donaron ropa, cada niño de nuestro programa regresó a casa con varias prendas. ¡Qué bendición!

• Estamos muy agradecidos por la ayuda y el apoyo que nos ha brindado Jess, nuestra pasante que ha regresado con nosotros. También recibimos a dos equipos misioneros de corto plazo este mes, sumando un total de más de 60 hermanos y hermanas en Cristo. Que Dios los bendiga y se dé a conocer a través de ellos.

¿Cómo puedes orar por nosotros?

• Oren para que los nuevos voluntarios que hemos recibido representen bien a Cristo y se mantengan firmes en su servicio.

• Por favor, oren mientras discipulamos a nuestros estudiantes universitarios con mayor intencionalidad, ahora que han asumido roles de liderazgo dentro del ministerio. Que Dios los proteja de la tentación y continúe fortaleciendo su fe.

• Actualmente, contamos con 7 estudiantes universitarios en nuestro programa que recibieron una beca de un año a través de Inca Link; dicha beca finalizará a fin de año. Por favor, oren mientras trabajamos para encontrar patrocinadores que les permitan continuar con sus estudios.
